The season is from January to September. Participation is from intermediate pilot level to tandem instructors. Take off site is 1356 meters above sea level. Difference between landing and the take-off is approximately 1000 meters.

Scuba diving

Available from December to March on the western coast and from of May
to September on the eastern coast of the island. Apart from treasures of
coral and fish, another exciting attraction to skilled divers, underwater
archaeologists and photographers are the submerged wrecks which abound the coastal waters.

Windsurfing

This sport is possible on sea and river.

Fishing

Sea and River Trolling and casting at estuaries. Rustic fishing boats to elegant Kevlecats can be used. Spanish Mackerel, Travelli, Barracuda, Queen Fish, Barrarmundi, Mangrove Jacks.

Trekking and camping

Soft to hard treks available. Camping is by the banks of a river or in Wildlife Parks

Golfing

Three 18 hole golf courses available in Sri Lanka. Two are in the Hill Country, namely the Victoria Golf Club built to U.S.G.A. standards and the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. One in Colombo, being the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
